The seasons in detail

These dates still only refere to Uppland - the county were we hunt.

Moose season
Starts the second Monday in October (i.e. Oct 7)
and lasts normally till December 31.

Roe deer season
The "spring hunt" starts May 1 and ends June 15. The buck
premiere is August 15 and from October 1 the females are
also allowed. Roe deer season ends January 31.
